About SME “Polytechnic”
SME “Polytechnic” has been operating in Cherkasy, Ukraine, since 1992. The company was founded by Konstantin Yagudin, Candidate of Technical Sciences (PhD in Engineering). From the very beginning we have focused on one thing: mechanical weighing and bagging scales for bulk products. The awards our designs have received are listed on the Achievements page.
Over more than 30 years we have developed the DVSV series, which fills bulk, granular and powdered products into bags and pouches without electricity or compressed air. Our equipment is used by farms, food and chemical plants, warehouses and grain stores.
What we manufacture
- Small doses from 0.2 to 10 kg: DVSV-S — filling pouches, boxes and other open containers; DVSV-N — net weighing in a hopper, then discharge into any package.
- Bags from 5 to 70 kg: DVSV-M — for grain, sugar, compound feed, fertilizers and dry building mixes.
- Dusty and explosion-hazardous products, 25–70 kg: DVSV-50 — with no source of sparks at all.
- Frozen products, 5–70 kg: DVSV-F — stainless steel body.
- Auxiliary equipment: feed hoppers for an even product flow and discharge conveyors that release the filled bag automatically.
Why mechanical scales from “Polytechnic”
No electricity needed
The scale works without mains power or a compressor: in the field, at a grain store, in a warehouse without power and during blackouts.
Safe in dusty workshops
There are no electrical circuits or sensors, and therefore no source of sparks. That makes the scales suitable for flour, sugar, compound feed and chemical powders.
Easy to maintain
The lever mechanism needs no controllers or programming. Any mechanic can set it up and service it.
12-month warranty
We handle installation and calibration, train your staff and keep servicing the equipment after the warranty ends.
